PMS9103M is a digital general particle sensor based on the principle of laser scattering. It can continuously collect and calculate the number of suspended particles with different particle sizes in the air per unit volume, that is, the particle concentration distribution, and then convert it into mass concentration, and use the general digital interface. form output. The sensor can be embedded in various instrumentation or environmental improvement equipment related to the concentration of suspended particulate matter in the air to provide timely and accurate concentration data.

Working principle:

This sensor uses the principle of laser scattering. Even if the laser is irradiated on the suspended particles in the air to produce scattering, and the scattered light is collected at a certain angle at the same time, the curve of the scattered light intensity with time can be obtained. Then the microprocessor based on the MIE theory algorithm, obtains the equivalent particle size of the particles and the number of particles with different particle sizes in a unit volume.

Installation Precautions

1. The metal casing is connected to the internal power supply ground. Be careful not to short-circuit with other external board circuits or the chassis casing.

2. It is the best installation method that the plane where the air inlet and air outlet are located is close to the air hole connecting the inner wall of the user machine with the outside world. If this is not possible, there should be no obstruction within 2cm around the air outlet. There should be a structure between the air inlet and the air outlet to isolate the air flow, so as to prevent the air from returning directly from the air outlet to the air inlet inside the user machine.

3. The ventilation hole opened for the air inlet on the inner wall of the user machine should not be smaller than the size of the air inlet.

4. When applied to purifier products, try to avoid placing the sensor directly in the air duct of the purifier. If it is unavoidable, an independent structure space should be set up, and the sensor should be placed in it so that it is connected to the air duct of the purifier itself. isolation.

5. When applied to purifiers or fixed detection equipment, the sensor position should be more than 20cm above the ground. Otherwise, it may be polluted by large dust particles or even flocs near the ground, causing the fan to wind up and stop rotating.

6. When the sensor is used in outdoor fixed equipment, the protection against sandstorms, rain and snow, and willow catkins should be completed by the equipment.

7. The sensor should be an integral component, and users should not disassemble it, including the metal shielding case, to prevent irreversible damage.

8. The sensor can be fixed with M3 self-tapping screws.
